Ken Del Vecchio Horror Double Feature
Del Vecchio and guests in attendance!
BUY TICKETS ($10 admission)
NJ-based Kenneth Del Vecchio is an accomplished writer/director/producer with over 20 features under his belt and an average of three films released per year. He is also the founder of the Hoboken International Film Festival (held in Middletown, NY), a practicing lawyer and former judge, and a published author of both fiction and law books. The Cinedelphia Film Festival is excited to present a double feature of Del Vecchio’s work with special guests in attendance!
THE LIFE ZONE (2011) – Del Vecchio served as writer/producer on this controversial horror outing that Mediaite.com summarized as an “anti-abortion version of Saw“. Three women with planned abortions find themselves kidnapped by a diabolical doctor who attempts to brainwash them Clockwork Orange-style. With a highly unpredictable climax that was obviously intended to spark debate, The Life Zone is not recommended for the weak of heart or mind.
SCAVENGER KILLERS (2013) – Another writer/producer outing for Del Vecchio who also has a featured acting role. Here’s the official synopsis:
Bonnie and Clyde are reinvented in SCAVENGER KILLERS, where a charming judge and a hot criminal defense attorney go on a maniacal killing rampage. With bizarre, yet somehow believable, FBI agents (a physically powerful, condescending mute with wooden legs, and a Tourette’s Syndrome introvert with psychic abilities) on the hunt, the deranged duo amp up their rampage, never murdering with the same method but always with same untamed ferocity.
Starring Eric Roberts, Charles Durning, Robert Loggia, and Dustin Diamond (Saved by the Bell). Director Dylan Bank will be in attendance.
