50th Anniversary Screening
Presented by Warner Archive

Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the most inventive and unique family films ever made, legendary filmmaker George Pal’s 7 FACES OF DR. LAO.  Emmy-winner Tony Randall (TV’s THE ODD COUPLE, GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH) plays seven different characters, from Merlin to Medusa to the mysterious Chinese man of the title.  Dr. Lao’s traveling circus sets up shop in a Western frontier town that’s on the brink of being sold to a crooked rancher.  Attendees of the circus are offered wisdom by its performers, exposing the faults of some and the strengths of others.

Award-winning visual and makeup effects, bizarre monster scenes, and sincere life-affirming lessons make 7 FACES a true gem in the pre-CGI fantasy genre.  It’s free so bring the whole family!
